22 November 2023 Fucin project comes alive! Municipalities and students meet to introduce themselves and plan their shared path. An informal, participatory and lively meeting in Italy.
The students of the Marco Polo Institute and the municipality of Calenzano, in Italy, have started the engagement process which will see them involved throughout the duration of the project. This participatory process will drive students to discover the municipal administration and to know the policies that are implemented at territorial level, with particular reference to green practices.
The mutual exchange between students and the municipality, through face-to-face meetings, will raise the students‘ awareness helping them to understand the dynamics that revolve around its administration on specific issues related to the environment (such as reasons and challenges for implementing a policy, the impact on territory, the legislation, the bureaucratic procedures) increasing their common value and civic engagement.
