A particular strength of the FuCIn project is its well-balanced consortium with complementary expertise to successfully organize, implement and realize all foreseen activities. FuCIn partners represent the core of the civic engagement soul of the project, in implementing the collaborative engagement of the students as active citizens and the Municipalities as open and collaborative institutions.

7 different partners belonging to three different countries (Italy, Turkey and Slovakia) will collaborate closely to achieve the objectives set by the FUCIN project.

The National Research Council (CNR) is the largest public research institution in Italy, with the Institute of BioEconomy (IBE) involved in the project, has a strong interdisciplinary and excellent value and project resources. The mission of IBE is to work in every field, including education and training, to support defining mitigation and adaptation strategies to global changes, enhancement of biodiversity and development of sustainable systems for the use of bio resources for food, manufacturing, construction and energy.

INAK is an NGO, located in Slovakia, with focus on the development of human resources and learners` key competences through providing educational support activities to various target groups: children, youth and adults. INAK supports the principles of lifelong learning, nature and environment protection, as well as outdoor learning and building relations to natural and cultural heritage.

Vakif K12 SCHOOL is a Turkish non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2000 with the objectives to manage a new school idea for students and teachers of the new millennium: Web-based organization of all management and course-acquisition-based learning processes of school with classes units that combine science-technology-engineering mathematics disciplines for an actual STEM competences upgrade.

ITT Marco Polo is a public upper secondary technical school based in Florence (Italy), which proposes a specific education study plan oriented to preparing young students for working in the tourism professional sector. It is also offering study preparation as a linguistic secondary school.

Calenzano is a Tuscan municipality (Italy) with a total area of 76.97 sq km. The municipal administration, for several years, has been pursuing a joint strategy of governance of territorial resources and local development, aimed at the active protection and sustainable enhancement of the rural and peri-urban territory.

Bilimce Association, located in Turkey, was established with the aim of developing, implementing, and disseminating results and policies in the fields of climate change and sustainability, to raise awareness in those areas. Bilimce Association,is a policymakers, stakeholders and university platform that has been conducting awareness studies on the impact of public administrations actions for the well-being of citizens.

Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU) is the first and the largest regional Local Government Association in Turkey. MMU’s center is located in Istanbul. MMU carries on activities in areas such as environment, urbanization, migration and social cohesion, local diplomacy, local economic development, resilience, urban technology and innovation.
